The celebrations around Piku don’t seem to be ending anytime soon. 
On Sunday, Deepika Padukone and Shoojit Sircar were invited to a party held by a leading Bengali daily in Kolkata. Given the films Bengali connection and its thumping box-office success, the actress and the director were honoured by the newspapers head honchos.
Deepika got a real flavour of Bengal at the do. Jissu Sengupta, who played her business partner in the film, was by her side and introduced her to the Bengali film fraternity that had turned up to meet her.
Shoojit watched all the action from the sidelines like a proud parent.
